Despite the overwhelming negativity revolving around Hideo Kojima's departure from Konami, when Metal Gear Solid V was released last year, it was met with with exponential praise. Yes, the ending was cut off short and was supposed to be so much more, but even with this, it still contained arguably the best stealth action gameplay from any game.

Thus, it's no surprise that Konami is bringing out a complete package for last year's release. The Japanese publisher has announced today that they will be releasing Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 13 for the discounted price of $49.99. It not only includes both the base Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes games, but most of the downloadable content, as well.

This includes the Déjà Vu and Jamais Vu missions from Ground Zeroes, a slew of content from The Phantom Pain's campaign, alongside Metal Gear Online. Konami is obviously competing with the recently announced Game of the Year Edition for The Witcher 3, which also includes the complete package for the exact same price.
