Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Stream Announced for Gamescom

It’s fair to say that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is one of the most anticipated titles of 2015. Kojima fans across the world are itching to see more of the stunningly beautiful Peace Walker sequel after it stole the show at E3 2014. Our E3 2014 Game of Show appears to be the real deal, as its sandbox-based stealth gameplay gives players the ability to improvise constantly throughout its massive campaign. Oh, and let’s not forget that the Fulton Recovery System is back, and it can be used on sheep.

Today, Konami announced that special Hideo Kojima hosted event will take place on August 13th at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. During this event, the series creator will talk about the game for an hour, as well as present some new gameplay footage and details. This new footage is allegedly designed to show off the capabilities of the new FOX engine, which was responsible for making Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes so damn beautiful.

If you’re unable to make it out to Germany to watch the event in person, Konami will be streaming it in its entirety on its Twitch Channel.
