Meteos Shares his Side of the 100 Thieves FlyQuest Trade

Right at the end of week 3 of the NA LCS everyone learned that 100 Thieves Jungler William “Meteos” Hartman had been traded to FlyQuest for Andy “AnDa” Hoang.

Since the news broke the trade has taken up much of this weeks news regarding League of Legends. We’ve heard the official statement by 100 Thieves about what happened, and now Meteos has taken to YouTube to tell his side of things and where he’s going from here.

From Meteos’ perspective, he was told at the end of week 2 that the team would be going with Đỗ “Levi” Duy Khánh and Brandon “Brandini” Chen for the Rift Rivals tournament, and that it was a change that the team had been looking to make for some time. Not knowing whether this was a permanent thing or a test for the org. Meteos requested permission to speak to other teams.

According to Meteos, he wanted to see if there was interest from other teams, but not that he wanted to be traded initially. He just wanted to know what options there were. So 100 Thieves agreed and promised to look for the best outcome for all parties involved. A week later, right after the games on Sunday, Meteos was approached by the COO of 100 Thieves, John Robinson, and was told that he had been traded and that he should move out of the 100 Thieves house the first thing the next morning.

That’s the short of it. You can watch the full video below.
