Metro Exodus’ Expansion Pass Revealed As Stand-Alone Story DLC

Following on from the well-received release of 4A Games’ anticipated follow-up into the Metro series, via Metro Exodus, the studio have today revealed the details surrounding the game’s Expansion Pass. Metro Exodus’ post-release content finds players diving into two seperate, story-focused DLC’s which shift focus away from main protagonist Artyom. The first, referred to as The Two Colonels, focuses on Colonel Khlebnikov, a completely new character, the other focusing on fellow Spartan Sam in the fittingly-titled Sam’s Story — coincidentally, the only American in the primarily Russian band of soldiers.

Both expansions follow on from the events of Exodus’ climax, thus it’s advised for those interested, to finish the game first for the sake of story spoilers. Metro Exodus is currently available on PS4, Xbox One & PC via the Epic Games Store — a Steam version is planned to release sometime next year. The game’s first piece of DLC, The Two Colonels, releases this summer with Sam’s Story following in early 2020.
