Metroid Dread Demo Now Available

Metroid Dread has gotten rave reviews so far – and the latest entry in Nintendo’s long-running sci-fi series is now available to be played by more people than ever before. In a rare move, Nintendo is making a demo available for a first-party game with one just launching for Metroid Dread on the eShop. Nintendo has done demos before for Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker, but usually refrains from doing them outside of retail demos despite those also featuring a sectioned-off portion of a game and seemingly requiring no more effort to put out than one on the eShop. With the Metroid series being dormant for so long, it’s refreshing to see Nintendo go so hard in promotion for the newest entry.
