Microsoft Teams with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums

The company that Bill Gates built intends to donate a cool $10K to help aid Sumatran tiger conservation. They will be the first species of animal to benefit from the unlikely, but pretty cool partnership between Microsoft and the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Further, the electronics giant has vowed to donate $10K to a wildlife-oriented charity every time Zoo Tycoon players manage to complete a chosen Community Challenge. The game’s community can then vote on which charity will receive the donation.

“Players have until March 31 to collectively release 1,000 Sumatran tigers into the wild in Zoo Tycoon. If they succeed, Microsoft will donate $10,000 in support of efforts to reduce the number of Sumatran tigers killed, displaced, or caught in snares,” the challenge reads.

The lesser-known, but quality business simulation game is available on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
