With the LPL locking in their Mid-Season Invitational representative soon, we finally have the schedule of how everything should go down.
MSI starts with the Play-In stage before the group stage for all the smaller regions to make their mark and get into the main event. There will be four days of this double round-robin Bo1 with each group playing two days. The teams in the play-in stage are as follows:
- Gambit Esports
- Kaos Latin Gamers
- Ascension Gaming
- Rainbow 7
- BAUSuperMassive eSports
- Dire Wolves
- PENTAGRAM
- KaBuM! e-Sports
After that, the best two teams from each group will move on to face either EVOS Esports or Flash Wolves in a Bo5. The winners will move on to MSI and they will face off with the other victors of the major regions. Those teams are:
- Fnatic
- KING-ZONE DragonX
- Team Liquid
- RNG/EDG
Play-ins are set to start on May 3 and will continue until May 9 with the Play-in finals taking place. The main stage starts Friday, May 11. You can see the full schedule here.
