On Tuesday, Capcom's newest Monster Hunter baby touched down on the Nintendo Wii U and 3DS. By all measures it's a fantastic game through and through. No doubt, however, that it's a traditional Monster Hunter game in that it's deeply nuanced and hardly newcomer-friendly. Thus, it's important to note that Brady Games has you covered, if you have never played any of the previous games in the series. To depict just how complex the title is, the guide, which is about the weight of sack of bricks, is 500 staggering pages long. That wasn't a typo -- I said five-hundred pages. If that's not cooler than a snake driving a dump truck, then I don't know what is.

But why is this important? Well, because the guide was originally thought to be only 250 measly pages large (I say that tongue-in-cheek because 250 pages is still rather colossal). Dwarfing it by double, this could be one of the biggest game guides around. There, it goes without being said that this will certainly please the many, many hardcore fans out there.

If folks pre-ordered the game from GameStop or EB Games, they already received a free copy of the guide in PDF format. Everyone else is stuck having to shell out their hard earned cash for it.
