Ed Boon has confirmed that we'll get our first look at Kombat Pack 2 gameplay next week.

Kombat Pack 2 adds four new characters to Mortal Kombat X, which were teased last month via a trailer. Next week, we're going to get a gameplay trailer showcasing at least one of the four characters.

It remains a mystery what exactly we will be seeing. We might get a trailer focused on one of the characters, or all of them. The trailer will likely have a release date for the first character, and a price. Kombat Pack 1 was $39.99, each character pack (that came with three skins) were $8.99 each, and each character was $4.99. Pricing will likely be similar.

Mortal Kombat X launched nearly a year ago on PS4, Xbox One, and PC to critical acclaim. Kombat Pack 2 adds Bo Rai Cho (first introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance), Tri-Borg (an amalgamation of Cyrax, Sektor, and Smoke), Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, and the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise.
