Necropolis has already been making a name for itself among the indie circuit due to its stylish presentation, procedurally generated dungeons, and ball-busting difficulty, all of which has so far added up to a roguelike game that already feels like one of the best in its field so far, as we can attest to. And now, developer Harebrained Schemes has announced that the game will be standing out in said field even more thanks to the addition of multiplayer, allowing up to four players to take a crack at surviving the punishing journey to defeat the archmage Abraxis together.

In addition to this new development, the revelation also dropped that the release date for Necropolis will be March 17 on Steam, with pre-orders to begin on February 2. So hopefully, that should us all enough time to prepare for a string of near-endless deaths.
