Playstation Vita owners have been begging for a reason to turn on their handhelds for quite some time now, but they won't have to wait much longer as Muramasa Rebirth (a port of the phenomenal PS2 game) has an official release date. The Aksys published title will be out on June 25 in North America, featuring beautiful artwork on the cover, and a soundtrack for those who decide to pre-order.

Rebirth will also have a Collector's Edition available for purchase, giving fans a Japanese-text face cover, a purple skin, a pouch to carry around your Vita in and a framed Lithograph by George Kamitani. It should be a good year for Vanillaware fans as this is only one of their two beautiful 2D games expected to ship for the Playstation Vita within the next seven months.
