After putting out a PC port a few months ago, Metanet Software has put out a development update on their future plans for the simplistic yet difficult platformer, N++.

The big news is that N++ will be receiving a large free update early next year; so big that it warrants a name change to N++ Ultimate Edition. The patch will supply the game with nearly double the amount of content compared to its launch version, and includes new color schemes and a mode designed specifically for N++ veterans. Additionally, Metanet announced plans for the near future, which includes a Mac port and Steamworks support arriving by the end of this year, as well as N++’s inclusion on the Humble Store and on the 100 best rated games of Steam, according to Steam Database.

N++ is currently available on PS4 and PC. For more on the challenging 2D platformer, check out Hardcore Gamer’s review of the title, which cites it as one of the best platformers of 2015.
