With ports and re-releases becoming increasingly prevalent, some gamers have suggested this trend is out of control. Historically, ports have always been common in gaming (and usually with much less work done to them!). Case in point, one of the best collections of arcade ports for a long while was the Namco Museum series on PS1.

Spanning five volumes and an additional Encore version, each disc came with a variety of classic Namco titles. Japanese PSN users received these compilations in 2013 and now it's finally our turn. Here's a list of what games are included in each volume:

Volume 1 - Bosconian, Galaga, New Rally-X, Pac-Man, Pole Position, Rally-X, Toy Pop

Volume 2 - Bomb Bee, Dragon Buster, Gaplus, Grobda, Mappy, Super Pac-Man, Xevious

Volume 3 - Dig Dug, Galaxian, Ms. Pac-Man, Phozon, Pole Position II, The Tower of Druaga

Volume 4 - Assault, Assault Plus, Genji and the Heike Clans, Ordyne, Pac-Land, The Return of Ishtar

Volume 5 - Baraduke, Dragon Spirit, Legend of the Valkyrie, Metro-Cross, Pac-Mania

Each digital volume of Namco Museum will play on PS3 and Vita.
