Last month was an undeniably packed month of new releases, but three of them stood above the rest as the best-selling digital PS4 titles for the month.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, NBA 2K20, Borderlands 3 and FIFA 20 secured the top three respective spots for the most-downloaded PS4 games of September. While Minecraft technically took the fourth spot on the list, Sony clarified that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne would have reached that same spot if it were considered a full release as opposed to an expansion. Several other new September releases reached the top twenty as well; NHL 20 came in at number seven, eFootball PES 20 reached the eleventh spot with Greedfall and Code Vein in behind it at twelve and thirteen respectively, Castle Crashers Remastered made its debut on PS4 at number fifteen, and Remnant: From the Ashes appeared at eighteenth.
