There's something new a-brewin' in the world of Dragon Ball Z. Today, Bandai Namco a new character for Dragon Ball FighterZ and revealed that a brand-new action-RPG game based on the Dragon Ball Z universe is in the works. The new fighter will be coming from Universe 11; more specifically, they're a member of the team that represented Universe 11 during Dragon Ball Super's "Tournament of Power" arc. For those who haven't been watching, Goku accidentally triggered a high-stakes tournament wherein representatives from each of the twelve universes would fight it out to determine whether or not their universe would get erased. Way to go Goku.
The strongest fighter representing Universe 11 was Jiren, so it's probably safe to say that he'll be the one joining Dragon Ball FighterZ's roster sometime in the near future. His addition should be pretty exciting even for those who haven't seen him in action yet, as his overwhelming power and flair are sure to carryover to his Dragon Ball FighterZ incarnation. This is the fighter whom no one person can defeat, so he should plenty of exciting moves to show the game's fans.
As for the new Dragon Ball game, all we know at this point is that it exists. However, more details are coming at the Dragon Ball FighterZ World Tour Finals on January 26 and January 27. Hopefully this will be something exciting enough to push fan's power levels over the limit.
