Nintendo is launching four new 2DS models that will come in the colors of the three starters and Pikachu. They will only be available in Japan.

The Red, Green, Blue and Yellow 2DSs were announced on the official Pokémon site. They are set for release on February 27, which just so happens to be the 20th anniversary of the release of versions Red and Blue. Mind you, the color you buy will determine which version comes pre-installed.

Poké 2DS

Along with the game, the home menu will be Poké-themed, and stickers and a code for a Mew will be included in the box.

Speaking of which, these throwback systems will also come in corresponding boxes that look totally rad.

There have been no signs that a Western release is on its way, but who knows. Stay right here to find out if they ever do.
