Publisher Square Enix has released new screenshots from the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration during Gamescom 2016.
The screenshots (posted below) include artwork for Croft Manor, the main location of the Blood Ties mission. Speaking of Blood Ties, the single-player story expansion in the 20 Year Celebration, there are five new images of Lara Croft exploring different areas of Croft Manor during the mission.
Croft Manor will also be the setting for the other new mission in 20 Year Celebration: Lara’s Nightmare. Two new screenshots from Lara’s Nightmare have the leading heroine fighting off the undead.
The classic skins for Lara Croft, available through the 20 Year Celebration, feature in the final batch of images released by Square Enix. These alternative outfits, which are throwbacks to Lara’s former attires, can be used in the single-player campaign of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Square Enix announced Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration last month, with the sequel to 2013’s Tomb Raider coming to PlayStation 4 a year after releasing on Xbox One as a timed exclusive.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration brings new features, the Blood Ties and Lara’s Nightmare missions, classic skins, the two main DLC expansions — Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch and Cold Darkness Awakened — Expedition Cards and all outfits and weapons that were released as add-ons.
Rise of the Tomb Raider Season Pass owners on Xbox One and PC will receive access to all the new content coming to the 20 Year Celebration for free.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration will launch on October 11, 2016, for PS4.
