While we’ve long thought that the image of an enemy starring down the barrel of Sam Fisher’s gun would be the final box art for the game, a new version was released today that seems to suggest the game will be getting a new one. Removing the potential assasination, the new cover simply features a crouched down Sam in a spring with nothing but a pistol. And a combat knife.

…and some night vision goggles.

The intensity is higher on this version, even with less combat and more stealth, although Sam looks decidedly like Clive Owen.
