Nintendo Switch's online service has been live for about a year now and in that time, users have enjoyed retro goodness with the NES library of online titles. Announced during today's Nintendo Direct, the service will expand to include SNES games as well. Players will continue to enjoy the rewind feature and co-op play as seen with the NES titles.

To help with cooperative play, Nintendo will also release a SNES controller formatted for the Switch. The gamepad will have an updated format with ZL and ZR buttons and sells for $29.99. For the time being, the controller appears to be exclusive for Online Members. Twenty new SNES titles launch tomorrow, with more to come in the future.
