Nintendo of Japan has announced that 2014's official Pokemon Christmas Party will take place on Sunday December 14 from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Big Pallette Exhibition Hall (福島県郡山市南2丁目52番地) located in Fukushima.

Pokemon fans can sign up to go to the party by purchasing a wristband at any official Japanese Pokemon Center shop. The party will feature some live stage performances featuring Pikachu and friends, a workshop for children to make their Pokemon Christmas mantles (see below), and a "play center" for fans to try out all manner of new Pokemon games for the Nintendo 3DS.

Additionally, fans that decide to bring their 3DS copies of Pokemon X/Y or Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire will also receive some exclusive Christmas "O-Powers." All attendees will also receive their own free Pikachu sun visor. Whoo!

The Pokemon Christmas Party is part of Nintendo's ongoing 'Pokemon with You' campaign, a charity benefit program to help both children and adults in Tohoku that fell victim to the Great East Japan Earthquake back in 2011.
