Yomawari: Night Alone was one of last year's best surprises, being a mesmerizing horror-adventure game from Nippon Ichi that ended up with nominations for Best Adventure Game and Best Story in our Best of 2016 awards. So naturally, a sequel to such a game would be quite welcome, and thankfully NIS will be delivering in that area with the newly-announced Yomawari: Midnight Shadows.

Details on the new entry are light right now, with all we know at this moment about the game's setup is that it involves two new young female characters, Yui and Haru, being separated by a mysterious attacker and having to brave several haunting locales in order to reunite. And aside from that and the lone image in the above header, the only other info we have is that Yomawari: Midnight Shadows (or Shin Yomawari, as it will be known in Japan) will be released this Fall for the Vita, PS4, and PC, but if it's any bit as good as the first, it should be something to definitely look forward to.
