THQ was a company struggling to make ends meet. They lost so many wonderful titles during their decline (many of which went to Nordic Games). Over the years, games such as Darksiders, Red Faction and Destroy All Humans! found new homes with the Austrian publisher.

Now, the company has officially obtained the de Blob series. The original de Blob game released on the Wii in 2008 and earned quite the array of awards and nominations. It was well-received by gamers and critics, even its sequel did pretty well.

With Nordic Games behind the series, it should be in good hands. The games themselves have done well and Nordic Games' recent release, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, was enjoyable. Combining the two seems like a good call, doesn't it?
