In the gaming world, 2013 has been full of highs and lows, and it's hard to debate that one of its greatest lows was the closure of THQ. After that, the process of selling-off assets began, and Nordic games grabbed quite a few.

Along with gaining the rights to Darksiders, Red Faction and Destroy All Humans!, Nordic picked-up the MX vs. ATV license; and they're ready to bring it back. MX vs. ATV Supercross will be releasing in the first half of 2014 for PS3, 360, PC, Mac, and Linux. Oddly enough, not on current-gen systems.

With the closure of THQ, all past MX vs. ATV games lost their console servers. Lucky for fans, Nordic is looking into bringing back server support.

It's hard to say who's really interested in playing MX vs. ATV after a full year of the servers being down, but it's good to hear they're working on a new one. Hopefully Nordic starts revealing their plans for the bigger franchises they obtained during THQ's closure.
