Fresh off of two major releases at the end of January, February continued the momentum of 2019 with a slew of long-awaited launches.

Standing tall atop of all those new releases is Bioware’s multiplayer RPG Anthem, as it reached the top spot in the NPD Group’s February software sales. Three other February launches also graced the top ten, with Jump Force coming in at number two, Far Cry: New Dawn finishing in fourth and Metro: Exodus showing up at eighth, while January’s Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 both had strong showings at third and sixth respectively. Notably absent from this list is Crackdown 3, which failed to show up in the top twenty in its launch month after a lengthy development period. Meanwhile, Nintendo’s dominance on the hardware front continues, as the Switch notches another month as the top-selling platform.
