To follow up the announcement of the game's release date, Square-Enix announced today that they will be partnering with NVIDIA to develop Shadow of the Tomb Raider's PC port. Just as they did with Rise of the Tomb Raider, NVIDIA will be focusing on helping Square-Enix and Crystal Dynamics make fuller use of NVIDIA's GeForce line of GPUs with special emphasis on the GTX-10 series.

It was also announced that Crystal Dynamics will be partnering with Nixxes Software to better develop the PC version of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Nixxes will actually be taking the lead on the PC version. Having developed PC ports for games like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the previous Tomb Raider games, they should be more than capable of delivering a satisfactory product to Tomb Raider's PC-playing fans.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches for PC, PS4 and Xbox One September 14.
