New York Excelsior has parted ways with two members of last years dominant team.

The NYXL has parted ways with main tank Joon-hwa "Janus" Song and coach Kim "WizardHyeong" Hyeong-seok. After proving to be the most dominant team during the regular season of the Overwatch League, NXYL ran into some problems in the playoffs.

After a major meta shift, the NYXL were knocked out after their first-round bye in the semifinals. With a lot of moves likely being made this off-season by all the OWL teams, it'll be interesting to see what else NYXL do to retain their form.
