Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition Rushes to PC, Consoles on November 30

Oddworld fans will be getting a Thanksgiving treat on November 30 with the launch of Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition. This new version of the game includes audio improvements, better Slig and follower AI, improved gameplay mechanics and enhanced motion code. Of course, all the updates and additional polish that have gone into the original since its release is here too.

There is some new content to be had as well, but it’s platform-dependent. Xbox players will have the chance to try “Vykkers Labs.” It’s a 2.5D puzzle mode wherein players must navigate each level as quickly as possible or with as few deaths as they can manage. PC and PlayStation-based players, on the other hand, will get to play “Toby’s Escape.” This mode offers classic Oddworld gameplay and tells the story of how Toby escaped Rupture FarmsĀ  and became the conductor of the train in Soulstorm.

Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition will release for PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for a price of $39.99. However, if one already owns Oddworld: Soulstorm on any of those those platforms, then they will receive this new version for free. For those entirely new to Oddworld, check out some of our reviews and see what’s up.
