The remake of Odin Sphere has been on the horizon for a while now and as of today the waiting is continuing.  But at least it's continuing with a set end-date, which is something that hadn't been available before.  Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is coming out on June 7, and pre-orders are now open at all your favorite gaming retailers.  While normally a pre-order isn't anything too important, Leifthrasir is kicking back like a decade ago with a pre-sell item that's well worth putting a little money down to secure.  All pre-orders come with a 64 page art book, about the same size as the bluray case, and getting a little book of George Kamitani art seems like it might be worth giving Participating Game Retailer a few bucks in advance.  Alternately you could spend an extra $20 for a metal case and hardcover art book (and other goodies) in the Storybook Edition, if you really want to get fancy.  Either way, it's an updated Odin Sphere that promises to fix the control and slowdown sins of the original PS2 version, and that's something to look forward to.
