Earlier this month, Ubisoft hosted a closed beta for their upcoming open world multiplayer shooter, which our preview called “a promising peek” at the latest Tom Clancy title.
Next weekend, the French developer is opening up the archipelago of Auroa to all with an open beta for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint that will run from September 26 at 3 AM PT to September 29 at 7 AM PT. In addition to the three side missions and drone areas that were present within the closed beta, the open beta will bring the total regions up from four in the closed beta to six, the main missions up from two to five, and the daily faction missions up from eight to twelve. However, the biggest addition comes in the form of Ghost War, Breakpoint’s PvP mode with four maps and one of the available game types, Elimination, being playable in the open beta.
The Ghost Recon: Breakpoint open beta will be available on all of the game’s launch platforms, including PS4, Xbox One and PC, before it releases the following week on October 4.
