Needless to say Ori and the Blind Forest has been one of the great indie releases of 2015, if not video game releases as a whole. But for those who were looking forward to playing the Definitive Edition this year, Moon Studios have today confirmed, in a tweet, that they have had to delay its release until Spring of next year.

In a separate tweet, the developers have assured fans that the Definitive edition will be available for a discounted price for those who already purchased the game on its original release. The Definitive Edition will include new areas and game mechanics, along with some potential new abilities.
