After being originally set to launch in late 2020, People Can Fly released their newest IP last month to a fairly mixed reception, including our own review which praised its combat and loot, but bemoaned its inconsistent story and server issues.

Since that time, Outriders has grown to reach a pretty sizable community, as shared via the game's official social media channels. In its first month, Outriders has seen over 3.5 million unique players with an average playtime of over thirty hours, which can partially be attributed to the game’s inclusion on Xbox Game Pass on its first day of availability. Nonetheless, these numbers are certainly promising for the new sci-fi IP, and People Can Fly has stated that the team is “looking forward to expanding Outriders in the future”, including with its latest patch which is scheduled to hit early next week.

Outriders is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
