The free play weekend will begin at 11:00 am PDT on Friday, November 18 (check below to see when it goes free in your time zone). This multiplayer component won’t require either PlayStation Plus nor Xbox Live Gold in order to gain access on their respective platforms.
Overwatch will be fully available to players on both consoles, including all characters (hopefully including the recently announced Sombra), maps and modes.
All progress will move over to the full game after the free weekend should you choose to upgrade after the special ends. The free download will be be about 15GB when available next weekend.
