A few months ago, developers Flight School Studio unveiled Creature in the Well, a hack-and-slash dungeon crawler mixed together with pinball mechanics. As a lone robot journeying through an abandoned world, players have to swat around energy orbs in order to defeat certain enemies and power up devices, among other things. It's quite the unique combination, and one that's been winning over several players at various showcases like PAX East and E3 since then. And now, it's ready for the big leagues, as Flight School has announced that Creature in the Well has gone gold.

No release date has been announced yet, but those attending Gamescom and Pax West this month will be able to check out the game's final demos. Creature in the Well is set to come out for the PC, Switch, and XB1, but it hasn't been mentioned if there will be a simultaneous release across all platforms. We'll keep you updated on any release details as they come, though, so stay tuned.
