Mobile ports are all the rage now, aren't they? I wouldn't know, I only play two games on my phone: Threes, and Don't Break Me Just Because Skype is a Piece of Crap. That said, and being as Dragon Quest 2 is one of the best JRPG's to reach those pocket computers with calling capabilities we like to tinker with non-stop, I'm very tempted. And you should be too; after all, this Famicom classic was responsible for many luxuries of the genre we take for granted today.

If you're even a tad interested in the 8-bit adventure of a lifetime, Dragon Quest 2 is now available on Google Play as well as iTunes. It's beautiful, lengthy, and if previous ports of the series are any indication, it plays beautifully.
