Capcom today announced a demo for Resident Evil 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Those excited to try out the upcoming remake won't have to wait much longer. Capcom has announced the existence of the long-rumored Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo. Out January 11, the demo provides players an in-depth look into the horrors that await them in Raccoon City.

Similar to the demo shown off at E3 2018, players take on the role of Leon S. Kennedy as they explore the Raccoon City Police Department. You're able to explore the RPD as much as you like, but there's a major catch. You only have thirty minutes to make it to the end of the demo. So, be mindful of the clock if you want to make it to the very end.

No matter how the demo ends, anybody who partakes in the demo will be treated to a brand new trailer exclusive to the demo. It'll give players another taste of what to expect when the game finally launches.

Resident Evil 2 is out January 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The 1-Shot Demo will be available starting January 11 until January 31.
