Although they went on sale just over an hour ago, the PlayStation 4 20th Anniversary Edition has already sold out. We were notified of the sale launching literally within seconds of it going live and there was immediately server issues and no orders going through. Unfortunately, those server issues not only persisted, but actually got even worse to the point where many could not even load the item page, let alone complete their purchase.

Those who were able to get a console persisted through the errors repeatedly until their orders eventually got through. Sadly, not everybody was so lucky.
