Video game music is very important for setting the mood and atmosphere of gameplay, but it sounds even more magical hearing it performed live with a full orchestra. This summer, both Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses will be making their way to San Diego.
On July 9, The San Diego Symphony will perform classical music from the nearly two decade history of Pokémon games. It’s something we got to experience a few months ago with moments to never be forgotten. A couple of days later, on July 11, you can experience the wondrous sounds of The Legend of Zelda. We recently had a chance to interview Executive Producer Jason Michael Paul about the concert series.
Tickets are on sale now for Zelda while Pokémon sales begin on April 13. Visit the San Diego Symphony website for more details.
