Nintendo and The Pokémon Company today dropped the release dates for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

It's going to be a Poképalooza starting this November and lasting through January 2022 thanks to the release of three Pokémon titles. The Generation 4 remakes based on Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are out November 19. Meanwhile, the new and exciting Pokémon Legends: Arceus lands on Switch January 28, 2022. To celebrate the announcement, Nintendo also revealed each of the game's box art. Unfortunately, Nintendo did not release any new footage from either game.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are faithful remakes of their Gen 4 counterparts. In them, players will explore the Sinnoh region as they attempt to uncover the secrets behind Dialga (Brilliant Diamond) and Palkia (Shining Pearl). Both games have been controversial amongst the community since their announcement due to their art style and apparent neglect of Pokémon Platinum's enhancements. That game fixed Diamond and Pearl's pacing issues, Pokémon type deficiencies, and character development for Team Galactic.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a brand new title that takes the franchise in a bold new direction. The game fuses action with RPG elements and places players in the open-world of ancient Sinnoh. The box art features the Sinnoh region's Mount Coronet looming over the ancient land.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl launch November 19. Pokémon Legends: Arceus launches January 28, 2022. All titles will be available on Switch.
