The most recent update of Pokemon GO has led to a number of of glitches and bugs in the game. All week, users have been reporting an increase in difficulty in throwing pokéballs accurately. Not only has throwing accuracy decreased, players have also reported that captured pokémon are breaking free from pokéballs more frequently and have not been properly awarding experience points to players.

Pokemon GO’s developer Niantic finally addressed the bugs in a tweet from Pokemon GO’s official twitter account, saying “trainers, a new bug affecting throw accuracy increases the odds of escape and omits the XP bonus. We are working on a fix, stay tuned…”

This comes on the heels of a long string of complaints over the changes that the latest update has brought to the game. Niantic has said that they are working to correct problems but has not given a time frame as of yet.
