Pokkén Tournament DX is getting two new fighters in the coming weeks.

Those looking for new Pokémon to battle with in Pokkén Tournament DX can rest east. Today, during their Mini Direct, Nintendo announced the Battle Pack, which adds two new fighters and four new support Pokémon. All of this will be released in waves in the next couple of weeks.

Wave 1 adds Aegislash as a playable Pokémon. This sword-shaped Pokémon was first introduced in X and Y and feels like a pretty good fit for a Pokémon fighting game. Support Pokemon Mega Rayquaza and Mimikyu also come with this wave. Wave 1 launches January 31.

Wave 2 adds Blastoise as a playable Pokémon. The gen 1 Water starter rises to challenge Charizard, the gen 1 Fire starter Pokémon. Support Pokémon Mew and Celebi also come with this wave. Wave 2 launches March 23.

Pokkén Tournament DX is available now on Switch. The Battle Pack is available now on the Switch eShop for $14.99. The individual waves, unfortunately, can't be purchased individually.
