After four years, Project PK Flash has finished its animated tribute to the legendary Earthbound. Released 20 years ago in Japan as Mother 2, this game has remained a classic thanks to its unique sense of humor and memorable SNES release. It was one of the few games released with a full strategy guide, and had a marketing blitz based around scratch and sniff cards. As a limited edition game, its print run was scarce, resulting in even bare cartridges going for a lot of money. Surprisingly, even the game's release on the Wii U eShop for $10 didn't hurt the cartridge's value. Anyway, the video retells major story points, so if you haven't played it, you might want to skip it. However, if you've played the game and just need a refresher, give it a shot. You can read all about the production on Project PK Flash's Tumblr page.
