In the old days when a console was succeeded, that console would simply sit unloved in your media center or console. Now that we’re in the internet age, however, old consoles don’t die so easily and even update themselves occasionally. Case in point, Sony just released a new update for the PlayStation 3. Titled “Update 4.75,” we’re not actually sure what the update does, but it’s officially a stability update.

So when you go to watch Netflix, play Uncharted or do whatever it is you do with your PS3 in 2015, don’t be alarmed.
