In a smaller-than-usual 250.4 MB download, PlayStation will be getting its next firmware update today.

The update will focus on stability rather than features as last month's 3.10 update did. The notes attached to the 3.11 update says “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.” It is essentially just a patch for the operating system.

In other PlayStation update news, a user on reddit revealed some screenshots of a survey he was asked to take about Sony's 4.0 update. The company asked about what features he would like to see implemented, and when he expects it to be released. Check out that story here.

And for all things PlayStation, firmware and reddit surveys, keep coming back to Hardcore Gamer.
