Swedish publisher Nordic Games has entered into a new partnership with Quantum Break publisher Microsoft Studios and developer Remedy Entertainment, helping to bring a “very special [retail] edition” of the third-person action-adventure shooter title to PC.

Heading to retail stores on September 14, 2016, Quantum Break: Timeless Collector’s Edition will be priced at $39.99 (£39.99).

The Timeless Collector’s Edition includes a copy of Quantum Break, making-of Blu-ray, a making-of art book, the soundtrack, two A3 posters and premium packaging.

“After having worked with Remedy on the PC version of Alan Wake in 2012, and with Microsoft Studios on Ori and The Blind Forest: Definitive Edition (2016), and State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition (2016), we are proud to announce a new triangle collaboration with two of our trusted partners,” says Reinhard Pollice, business and product development director at Nordic Games.

“Apart from being a new IP (which is always a brave step), Quantum Break turned out to be a sophisticated, visually stunning shooter with a top-notch cast of characters. We are looking forward to work on the physical PC release of this great game."

Over on the Xbox Wire, Microsoft confirmed that Quantum Break would also be making its way to Steam as a digital release.

Quantum Break’s Steam version will be made available with all of the latest updates in effect, Xbox Wire’s Will Tuttle revealed in his post.

Remedy released Quantum Break back in April for Xbox One and Windows 10. The title stars X-Men: Days of Future Past’s Shawn Ashmore, Lost’s Dominic Monaghan and Game of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen.

Hardcore Gamer’s review for Quantum Break said that it’s “visually striking, especially with the various time warping effects going on around the environment, and it helps recognizable actors and actress signed on to fill the cast.”
