The Indie Game Legend 3D might not immediately inspire with its name. That is, until you realize that its named after The Guardian Legend.

That's because that game (as well as other retro titles) serve as its inspiration! Players are tasked with saving indie developers trapped within an alien labyrinth. The Indie Game Legend 3D launched into Early Access today.

Right now the first half of the game is ready to play. Expect the title to remain in Early Access for around three to four months. It runs on Windows and Mac and costs $8.99 via Steam.
