It cannot be said enough: Raw Data is the best action VR experience available. Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to afford the equipment need to play it, though, which is completely understandable. Fortunately, the developer, Survios, will be releasing an arcade edition of the robot destroying shooter.

While the home version of Raw Data injects some story into the experience, Raw Data Arcade is special built to be a streamlined version to allow players to get straight into the action. The menus will be simplified, multiplayer matching will be sped up, and a hefty amount of admin options will be made available to arcade operators in order to allow for the perfect experience for a local audience. All in all, considering the prohibitive cost of the headsets and the hefty rigs needed to run them, VR represents a chance for the arcades of hold to gain some true relevance again. If Raw Data can be used to assist, the world is all the richer for it.
