The OUYA community has been wondering about Cortex for quite some time. Ever since OUYA was acquired by Razer, Cortex has been heralded as coming soon to the Forge, but nothing concrete was released. Today, Cortex was released and brings with it OUYA games that weren't previously available via the Google Play Store. Fittingly, the Cortex logo is essentially the OUYA controller logo only with a green O instead of the orange U shape.

The O rank is now called the Z rank, and sadly does not rank games based on their inclusion of zombies or "The Z Man" Tom Zenk. The Discover store is now called Discoverability, and the Cortex storefront will work as an alternative to the Google Play Store that is officially supported. This is a free update for the Forge TV, so if you own the device, just fire it up and you should be able to download it instantly.
