EA today announced plans to release a reboot of 1997’s Dungeon Keeper for iOS devices this winter. The game mixes strategic building and tower defense, allowing players to become the overlord of their very own subterranean layer. The game boasts updated graphics as well as PvP and PvE gameplay.

Originally released over fifteen years ago, Dungeon Keeper was designed by Peter Molyneux and was his final project with developer Bullfrog before he left the company to form Lionhead Studios. It’s unclear what relation the reboot will have with the original, both in terms of gameplay and development.
