Resident Evil 7 is getting a Collector's Edition, and isn't going to be very affordable.
Resident Evil 7 is set to launch January 24, 2017, and those looking to buy can choose the standard edition, the $90 Deluxe Edition, or the GameStop exclusive Collector's Edition. The company is displaying this edition prominently on their website, and boy is it pricey. The Resident Evil 7 Collector's Edition is going to set you back $180. That's pretty pricey, but does the included content make the price worth it?
Asides from the base game, players will get quite a few physical goodies. The standout is the model replica of the Baker mansion, which doubles as a music box. The mansion comes in at 8" tall, 7.5" in length, and "8.5" in depth. Here's everything else that comes with it:
- Resident Evil 7 biohazard Base Game
- Mansion Music Box (8'' Tall) that plays a sample of Aunt Rhody with accompanying LED effects.
- Dummy Finger 4GB USB Drive
- Exclusive Metal Case
- VHS Tape Box
- Exclusive Lithograph
- Creepy Note
- Premium Packaging
Resident Evil 7 is out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Collector's Edition will only be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
