Capcom has confirmed that a remastered version of Resident Evil: Revelations is coming to PS4 and Xbox One.

After January's excellent Resident Evil VII hit PS4, Xbox One, and PC, Capcom is bringing one of the more celebrated recent entries to the current-gen platforms. Resident Evil: Revelations, which originally launched on the 3DS in 2012, is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this fall. The company confirmed the news on Twitter, but provided no additional information.

Before Resident Evil VII, Revelations was considered one of the better entries in recent memory. The game was able to combine the action elements of recent titles with survival horror from the early games. The game was eventually ported to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC with new content and a new difficulty setting. A sequel, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, was released March 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and PS Vita.

We'll update you with more info once it becomes available.
